What's New(s) at The Manning
House

Some people receive the "Medal
of Honor" for one reason or another, you should receive the
"Medal for Hero of the Year". You came to the
rescue of two young "Quincenera's", Priscilla Ruth
Saronet Miller and Isela Nallely Cordova, first cousins, whom
might not have had their Quincenera celebration if it wasn't
because you have a "Heart of Gold".
They were
scheduled to have their 15th Birthday Celebration at another hall
in which they had done a contract with months in advance.
They were promised that everything was going to be perfect, that
it was going to be beautiful for them. Wrong, the day of the
celebration, Priscilla and Isela and their families did not have a
hall for the big event, even though they were told that there was
a back-up hall for them. Wrong again. We got on the
phone and called every place in Tucson, with no hall able to help
them out. Some had the hall available, but would not do
anything in such short notice. We, both families, went down
to the Manning House and spoke with you and told you what we were
going through.

| Although you had other plans for your day
that Saturday, you did not care. You told us that our girls would
have their special celebration and it would take place at the gorgeous
Manning House, that was almost 2:30 in the afternoon. The Blessing
was to take place at 5:00 p.m., with dinner starting at 6:00 p.m.
You told us not to worry, that you would have everything taken care
of. You called your family and friends and got together to get the
Manning House ready for our special event. I'll tell you, we
couldn't have found a more beautiful place, absolutely beautiful, not just
the Manning House, but a person like you. We owe you our girls
happiness because you made two beautiful girls, special young girls, you
made their dream come true. What someone couldn't do in months, you
did it in a few hours. |

Colleen, thank you from the bottom of our
hearts. We mean it, you deserve the "HERO OF THE YEAR MEDAL OF
HONOR". May God Bless you and that you may have great success,
more then ever because you are one of a kind.
